The Lord of the Rings is one of our favorite stories of all time here at Minecraft Sandbox. When we caught wind of a group of Minecraft users recreating the world of Middle-Earth in Minecraft, we drew our swords and cried out “For Gondor!”
If you want to get more info on this project, head over to the website to see screenshots, videos, a real-time map, and you could even sign up to be a part of the recreation efforts. You’ll need to be at least 16 and there’s an extensive application process, but this looks like an seriously exciting project to be working on.
